Describe the space in which you create. My work space is a small corner in the garage. It has a area for cutting glass and a area for soldering. I have a shelf for the large sheets of glass, drawers and bins for smaller pieces. I hate to throw any glass away.

What is your favorite thing about your space? It is mine… Looking at all the beautiful glass, sometimes I just pull a piece and look at it and wonder what it will be…

How do you keep your space organized? Not sure I do a good job at keeping it organized, but I can find what I am looking for. About once a month I do need to spend some time putting things away. Patterns seem to pile up in a corner. With having shelf's and drawers at least my glass is organized (most of the time anyway).

Do you have inspiration pieces in your space? If so, what are they? Inspiration comes from many things. I would say the inspiration I get from my space is my glass. The change of seasons gives me lots of ideas, I have a window in my work space so I can see outside. As winter turns to spring and the birds start singing, I get inspired to create birds and flowers. As summer turns to fall, I start to work on Christmas pieces, which are my favorite items to make. My biggest inspiration is not in my work space, it is a window we made for a bathroom. The fish just glow, even in the moonlight. Tools of the trade. My favorite tool is my grinder, I call it my friend. It helps me create some very nice pieces. I have a saw and will be testing it out soon. I have a piece I want to make that I have named Paradise storm. I have this black and clear glass that I want to use for the sky and I want it all it 1 piece, so that is a challenge I have coming.
