I'm Stephanie Carroll of ETC… cards
Where are you located?
Raleigh… well, Wake Forest, really
What do you create?
Cards and Lovely Sewn Items.
What is your favorite place to visit in the "triangle"?
Duke Gardens, though I've only been there once… it was absolutely lovely. I hope to go a few times this spring with my daughter.
Why did you choose your shop name?
Why did you choose your shop name?
ETC are my daughter's initials and I liked the ring of it as a shop name. My shop started out as a paper good only shop, but has recently expanded to other gifts as well.
What is the most time consuming part of your craft?
What is the most time consuming part of your craft?
Sewing paper inside each of my cards – then trimming the threads. Tedious work, but I love the finished product and feel it gives my cards a unique look!
What is you most popular item that you create?

Aside from cards, I've so many List Takers. I think people love these so much because it makes the little tasks like grocery shopping a little more fun!
How do you envision your creations being used by your customers?
How do you envision your creations being used by your customers?
I love to think of all the encouraging and thoughtful things that are being written to others on the cards I've created. That's what I hope for at least!
Do you have any advice to share on how you have made your business grow?
Do you have any advice to share on how you have made your business grow?
Word of mouth! As a mother of a one year old, it's hard to do a lot of advertising. I post my new items on my blog and occasionally advertise on facebook, but I think a lot of my sales have come by word of mouth.
What are your goals?

Business wise I'd love to be featured on Etsy's "Quit Your Day Job".
Personally, I aspire to be a godly wife and mother and to honor God with all I do.
