Etsy and a Little History Lesson - Columbus Day

In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. My grandmother taught me that rhyme when I was a child. To this day I remember that Christopher Columbus landed in the West Indies in 1492.

The holiday is celebrated on the second Monday in October in the US. Coincidentally this is the same day that our Canadian neighbors celebrate Thanksgiving.

If you are planning to ship any packages on Monday, you will have to wait. The US Post Office is closed as are banks and the stock market.

Etsy is still open. So sit back and enjoy some Christopher Columbus inspired art.
