OldBroomStreet in Holly Springs Arts Council Show

Dear Etsyers,

This is my first time attempting a post (thanks to Erin). I wanted to show you my Icon of Everlasting Peace that was in the September PEACE OF ART exhibit at the Holly Springs Arts Council.

This work incorporates both Hans Memling's Angel with an Olive Branch, Symbol of Everlasting Peace with a Jean Goujon window element from Paris. I attempted, in this decoupage piece, to simulate charoite, malachite, and lapis. The Peace symbol necklace is fashioned of malachite beads suspended from a brass chain and can be worn by the "viewer".
