Handmade Happenings - Sept. 2-4, 2011

We're covering the Raleigh area this holiday weekend with events in Downtown Raleigh, Cary and Wake Forest.  There's something for everyone, from First Friday evening, to a Saturday farmers market, to fun in the park on Sunday afternoon. See you there! 

Friday, September 2
First Friday - Downtown Raleigh
Join us for a fun-filled introduction to Raleigh's exciting art, music and dining scene.  Enjoy a free self-guided tour of local art galleries, art studios, museums, retail, restaurants and alternative art venues!

* Metamorphosis has an open house at her studio in The Carter Building- 14 Glenwood Ave, Studio #24 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

Cary Downtown Farmers Market
The Cary Downtown Farmers Market features only items grown or produced by the vendor within a 100-mile radius of the market.  Let us be your first stop for locally grown vegetables and fruit, dairy, honey, crafts and more!

Labor Day Sunday Entertainment at Joyner Park - Wake Forest
