What do you create? Stained Glass Art and Fused Glass Pendants
What is your favorite place to visit in the "triangle"? Artspace on First Friday because you get to talk to and visit with the artists.
When did you start creating? I started creating stained glass 15 years ago.
What is your most cherished handmade item? My Purple Mountain Majesty Panel that I designed and made for my broter who lives in Asheville.
Why did you choose your medium? I fell in love with glass - love the way the light illuminates the different colors and love the depth that dichroic glass adds to my pendants.
What inspires you? Nature and my own creativity
Where do you create? In my home (living room) and at the crafts center at the NC State Campus (to use the kilns)
Why did you choose your shop name?It just jumped out at me.
What are your goals? To sustain myself full time after I retire from teaching.
What do you do when you are not creating? Teach children how to read; spend time with family and friends; hike in the woods with my dog; run; listen to musicAfter you've browsed the colorful glass in Gail's etsy shop, don't forget to swing by and like her facebook page, too!
