The 4th Annual Waverly Place Farmers’ Market will kick off on April 25th with 20+ local produce, meats, cheeses, fresh baked goods and handmade crafts. You will find the market vendors under the green and white Waverly tents. lined up from the entrance near Triangle Wine Co. through to the Promenade.
The Waverly Farmers’ Market is part of LOCAL at Waverly Place, which is the backdrop every Saturday to all that our amazing community has to offer. From local musicians, to charities, to community performance groups, you can always expect something fun and exciting during LOCAL!
When: 9am-1pm
Where: Waverly Place, Cary

Art in the Park was created in 1962 by a handful of area artists and craftspeople to showcase local talent. 53 years after its start, Art in the Park is host to 90 artisans at each show. Some of the best local and regional artists and craftspeople showcase their handcrafted jewelry, pottery, fiber, glass, photography, painting and more.
Art in the Park’s high standards and professional jury attract artisans from all over the Southeast to exhibit in a series of six shows, May through October. The quality of work exhibited draws thousands to the mountains each month.

Oak City 7 is a summer concert series located in City Plaza (on Fayetteville Street) in beautiful downtown Raleigh.  Admission is free to the public and the events take place from 5pm to 10:30pm on Thursdays, beginning the Thursday after Memorial Day and ending the Thursday before Labor Day.
OC7 features notable local and regional bands along with local and craft beers.  There are at least 3 bands per event.
OC7 does not utilize any taxpayer money and is 100% sponsor driven.  The series will drive substantial revenue into the local economy encouraging attendees to visit local shops, bars, and restaurants before and after each event. Given that the series is sponsor driven, we greatly appreciate your support of these companies who are assisting in local economic growth.
Showcasing amazing local products, services, and artists is the foundation for Oak City 7, all the while providing the public with a comfortable and enjoyable free concert setting.

Come join us at the 39th Annual Lazy Daze Arts & Crafts Festival, one of the largest single day juried arts festivals in the United States. Due to construction, in 2015 the festival will be moved to Cary’s Town Hall Campus, a stone’s throw from the festival’s normal location. We’re confident the new location will be a great setting!

The Midtown Raleigh Farmers Market is located on the Commons at North Hills. The market fosters a community atmosphere and delivers fresh foods from producers to your table. Artsplosure is bringing its expertise to a series of warm weather month art and craft markets in downtown Raleigh. The first “Second Sunday City mARTket Fair” will take place on Sunday, July 12, from 11 a.m. through 6 p.m. in City Market located at 215 Wolfe Street, Raleigh

Artsplosure is known for its annual namesake spring festival that draws thousands to downtown Raleigh. A major feature of its spring festival is the juried Art Market, which features the talents of visual artists and fine crafters from North Carolina and nationally. The experimental “Second Sunday” fair will be similar but on a smaller scale, featuring from 20 to 40 mostly local artists in the market.

Every Sunday in May and October, The AFAS (Art for Art's Sake) Group organizes and sponsors an afternoon arts and crafts festival that's held outdoors on Trade Street in downtown Winston-Salem. Each festival features over 60 artists and includes a fun kids craft corner for the little ones.

Artsplosure: The Raleigh Arts Festival

Celebrate Artsplosure's 36th year as Raleigh's premier, free arts festival! In addition to musical performances and student art exhibits, artwork by over 180 juried artists and craftspeople exhibiting in 10 categories will be available for purchase including photography, jewelry, woodwork, ceramics, and more!

Charlotte VegFest 2015

Charlotte VegFest is a celebration of healthy, sustainable, and compassionate eating and explores the endless benefits of vegetarian living. This FREE event will feature a variety of vegan foods, local veg restaurants and food trucks, local vendors, live music, speakers, nutritional experts, vegan cooking demonstrations, free prizes, gift bags and more! EcoLicious and The Humane League are thrilled to be bringing an even bigger and better event this year to Plaza Midwood. We hope to see you there!

Pinehurst Strawberry Festival

Sunday morning, bask in the glory of a bygone era horse-drawn carriages from all over the east coast grace the streets in town. The parade of carriages features spectacular turn-of-the-century antique and reproduction carriages drawn by beautiful steeds. Following the parade enjoy the best of Moore County's bounty at the Strawberry Festival! Sample everything strawberry from ice cream to shortcake! Browse the craft booths, watch the elegant 4-in-Hand Horse Coaches, listen to the entertainers and enjoy a day in the park.
