Handmade Happenings - November 5-7, 2010

It's the first weekend of November, so that means First Friday festivities in Downtown Raleigh, plus several opportunities to get a jump start on your handmade holiday shopping in Cary, Apex and Winston-Salem! See you there!

Friday, November 5
First Friday - Downtown Raleigh
Join us for a fun-filled introduction to Raleigh's exciting art, music and dining scene.  Enjoy a free self-guided tour of local art galleries, art studios, museums, retail, restaurants and alternative art venues!

Sellers to look for:  OldBroomStreet will be one of several artists outside The Morning Times Cafe & Gallery at 10 E. Hargett Street. (6:00 pm - 10:00 pm)
metamorphosis will be in her new studio, still in the Carter Building now at 14 Glenwood Ave, Suite 18-A, on the 2nd floor. (6:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Craft Fair at the Western Wake Farmer's Market - Cary
A great variety of art, including pottery, jewelry, hand-knitted accessories, holiday decor and gifts, baskets, natural soaps, lotions and cleaning products, children's clothing, hair bows, birdhouses, glassware and stoneware, woodworking and more!

Holiday Craft Fair at St. Andrew the Apostle Church - Apex
Our 43 exhibitors are anxious to "show off" their talents! Gift Cards to various establishments will be raffled off throughout the day. All attendees will receive a free raffle ticket. You need not be present to win. Our "delicious soup" will again be on our lunch menu!
