Downtown Raleigh is the place to be tonight for great First Friday events! On Saturday, we have events in Cary, Durham and Fuquay-Varina.  Wherever you are in the Triangle, come out & join us this weekend for some local, handmade good times!

Friday, June 3
First Friday - Raleigh

Join us for a fun-filled introduction to Raleigh's exciting art, music and dining scene.  Enjoy a free self-guided tour of local art galleries, art studios, museums, retail, restaurants and alternative art venues!

* Metamorphosis has an open house at her studio in The Carter Building- 14 Glenwood Ave, Studio #24 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.
* OldBroomStreet (aka Bordeaux Lane Studio) and LaTeDaJewels will be at the Morning Times Market on Harget Street (between Fayetteville & Wilmgington Streets.) Local art vendors, live performances, fire hooping & more! In front of the Morning Times Coffee Shop and the Raleigh Times Bar from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

Cary Downtown Farmers Market
The Cary Downtown Farmers Market features only items grown or produced by the vendor within a 100-mile radius of the market.  Let us be your first stop for locally grown vegetables and fruit, pasture-raised meats, eggs, honey, cut flowers, landscape plants, crafts, pottery, jewelry, home-made jams, jellies, sauces and baked goods.

Arts on the Plaza - Durham
The new outdoor Plaza at Northgate Mall is the perfect place for a spring art show. "Arts on the Plaza" will feature more than 40 fine art and craft artists, live musical entertainment, spacious walkways for browsing, family activities and great food! Plus, an open house at the Durham Arts Council's new Clay Studio Gallery.

Celebration of the Arts - Fuquay-Varina
The Celebration of the Arts is a unique feature of the Celebrate Fuquay-Varina Festival. The festival boasts more than 70 arts and crafts vendors from all over the southeast region. You’ll enjoy strolling in downtown and browsing among artists that offer everything from handmade crafts to one-of-a-kind museum art pieces.
