Handmade Happenings, Dec. 2-4, 2011

Friday, December 2
First Friday - Raleigh
Join us for a fun-filled introduction to Raleigh's exciting art, music and dining scene with local art galleries, art studios, museums, retail, restaurants and alternative art venues!

Artists to visit:
* Bordeaux Lane Studio (formerly Old Broom Street) and La Te Da Adornments will be at the Morning Times Market on Harget Street. Local art vendors, live music and more!  7:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
* Metamorphosis has an open house at her studio in The Carter Building- 14 Glenwood Ave, Studio #24 from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm.

Ole Time Winter Festival - Cary
Local artists & crafters, performing groups, kids activities, and more! Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be present for professional photographs. Make plans now for what promises to be one of the biggest holiday festivals in our area!

4th Annual St. Nicholas Market - Cary

Boylan Heights Art Walk - Raleigh
Featuring the best of North Carolina's handmade art! Over 100 artists display and sell their work from porches, homes and studios. This is a wonderful opportunity to stroll through an historic neighborhood and shop for special gifts for the holidays.

Holiday Crafts Fair - Raleigh
Come browse our selection of unique and one-of-a-kind handcrafted items! Pottery, jewelry, knitwear, toys, clothes, hair accessories, all natural bath & body products, candles, natural herbs and more. Our vendors are all local craftsmen and artisans.

Five Oaks Holiday Craft Fair - Durham
Scarves, hand sewn items, jewelry, jewelry holders, paintings, holiday cards, and baked goods. When you are done shopping, stay for the Five Oaks Holiday Party!
