Handmade Happenings - July 2-4, 2010

Before you head to the cookout & fireworks show this 4th of July weekend, check out these great opportunities to enjoy local handmade arts, crafts, food & fun!

Friday, July 2
First Friday - Downtown Raleigh
Join us for a fun-filled introduction to Raleigh's exciting art, music and dining scene.  Enjoy a free self-guided tour of local art galleries, art studios, museums, retail, restaurants and alternative art venues!
Where: Downtown Raleigh
When: 6:oo pm - 9:00 pm (times vary by venue)
Seller to look for: metamorphosis will be at Found Studios, in the Carter Building at 16 Glenwood Avenue.  Look for the bright pink door. ;)

Saturday, Sunday & Monday, July 3, 4 & 5
Festival for the Eno - Durham
Put on by the Eno River Association, the Festival for the Eno has been a local favorite for more than 30 years! Come browse handmade arts & crafts by more than 100 southeastern artists, while enjoying musical acts on four stages, food, kids activities, and more, all in the lovely natural setting of the Eno River Park.
Where: West Point on the Eno, Durham City Park
When: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm each day
