When did you start creating? We began creating Twisted Love October
2012
Why did you choose your medium?
~ Mickey: I like the
flexibility and freedom of using metal. Adding fun beads and intricate wrapping
act like adornments to the base metal, and I like contrasting silver and
copper.
~Brianna: I like the
rustic look metal has to offer in jewelry. I like the ability to create pieces
for people to wear as an expression of artistic form rather than an accessory
for an outfit.
What/who inspires you?
~Mickey: I think
examining things like the way branches in trees twist together and other
designs found in nature inspire me the most.
~Brianna: I find
inspiration in the music we play while we create our pieces. I also really
enjoy gathering inspiration from other artists who focus on steampunk pieces.

Where do you create? Currently our studio
consists of a plastic folding table in the middle of our living room. Our
table/office happens to be adjacent to our eleven year old Chihuahua’s bed.
Why did you choose your shop/company name? We create pieces we love and add a twist!
What are your goals? We aim to eventually run our own studio/farm. We would like to have ample space to create and allow others to create as well. In addition to the studio we would like to have our own farm compound.
