Handmade Happenings - July 30-August 1, 2010

 This weekend, the action is in downtown Raleigh!  And by "action", we mean everything from the Maximus Circus performers, to a Krispy Kreme donut eating contest, to 4 stages of live music, kids activities, and of course, some of the best handmade arts & crafts around. Plus, it's all free! Come enjoy the show & support your local art-repreneurs. ;)

In addition to all these other great activites, there will be two venues for local artists to share their handmade arts & crafts!
"Artisan Market" features more than 100 vendors, artists & more in the City Plaza area, right on Fayetteville Street.
"Art Raleigh" a festival inside a festival, with all NC artists, in front of the Convention Center on Salisbury Street. 
Where: Fayetteville Street area, from the Capitol through City Plaza to Lenoir Street
When: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm 
Artisan Market: LaTeDaJewels, OldBroomStreet (near the fountain) 
Art Raleigh: metamorphosis, sissyandjacks
