Handmade Happenings, November 4-6, 2011

The first weekend of November and some chilly fall weather to get you in the mood for holiday shopping!  Our team members are participating in events in Raleigh, Roxboro and Morrisville this weekend, so come out a say hello.  A fun way to shop local & handmade this holiday season - see you there!

Annual Autumn Art Fest - Raleigh
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Raleigh is hosting its annual art festival this weekend. What a great way to start your holiday shopping! Items for sale will include pottery, jewelry, stained glass, paintings, textiles, photography, woodworking, baskets, and much more. Visitors will also enjoy browsing, so bring your friends and neighbors.

Artsplosure
Raleigh's annual downtown arts festival is bigger & better than ever this year, with Kidsplosure, live music & more!  The Art Market is in the streets surrounding Moores Square & south on Blount Street. Plenty of downtown locations are hosting special events in conjunction with Artsplosure, so there's plenty to do!

You don't have to be a hockey fan to enjoy this special winter version of Raleigh Wide Open, all leading up to the NHL All-Star Game on Saturday night.  Come downtown Friday and Saturday to enjoy all the events, including Fan Fair, musical performances at the Raleigh Amphitheater and, of course, an arts & crafts market!  See you there!

Handmade Happenings - July 30-August 1, 2010

 This weekend, the action is in downtown Raleigh!  And by "action", we mean everything from the Maximus Circus performers, to a Krispy Kreme donut eating contest, to 4 stages of live music, kids activities, and of course, some of the best handmade arts & crafts around. Plus, it's all free! Come enjoy the show & support your local art-repreneurs. ;)
