It's a busy weekend for the artists of the NC Triangle Team! There are a variety of events in Raleigh and Durham for you, and one for our friends in the Piedmont, as well. Shop Local & Handmade this holiday season for unique gifts!

Come browse our selection of unique and one-of-a-kind handcrafted items. There will be pottery, glass and wood art, jewelry, knitwear, custom baby items, toys, clothes, hair accessories, original art, all natural bath & body products, candles, holiday items, home baked goods and more. Our vendors are all local craftsmen and artisans. So we invite you to come and spend a fun afternoon with us and of course, shop ‘til you drop!

Trunk Show at DownTown Knits - Apex
Get a chance to see (and purchase) all of Esther’s handspun art yarns, art fiber batts, one of a kind wearables in person!! Pet, smoosh and just love on all the pretty colors and fibers! Esther will be giving a short talk on how to incorporate handspun yarn into your projects, with pattern recommendations. Free patterns will be available. the all-day event combines the talents of hand crafters in a variety of genres - from woodworking to glass, stitched art to lawn ornaments, hand-crafted jewelry to metal sculpture.

Handmade Happenings - August 6-8, 2010

It's a new month, which means First Friday festivities in Raleigh! Why not head downtown and spend an evening sampling the creative sites, sounds & tastes?

And on Saturday, join in the celebration of National Farmers Market Week by visiting your local market!  In addition to offering healthy, fresh, sustainably-grown produce (that doesn't have to be trucked in from thousands of miles away!),  many farmers markets also include baked goods, meats, dairy products, and handmade craft vendors, too.  Local yummies, handmade goodies... sounds like a match to me!

Handmade Happenings - July 30-August 1, 2010

 This weekend, the action is in downtown Raleigh!  And by "action", we mean everything from the Maximus Circus performers, to a Krispy Kreme donut eating contest, to 4 stages of live music, kids activities, and of course, some of the best handmade arts & crafts around. Plus, it's all free! Come enjoy the show & support your local art-repreneurs. ;)

"Artisan Market" features more than 100 vendors, artists & more in the City Plaza area, right on Fayetteville Street.
